CAVE THEORY // ORIGIN
WHAT IF THE WINDOW
IS THE CAVE?
Inspired by Plato's Allegory of the Cave, Cave Theory explores what happens when our picture of the world arrives through screens, fragments and competing signals.
Formed during years spent in a remote Greek island village, the album moves through isolation, perception, connectivity and the realities we construct from incomplete information.
The island had become my cave. And overlooking the bay, visible from almost everywhere, an ancient, wide-mouthed cave stood as a constant reminder of that reality.
BEHIND THE SIGNAL // XYDAKOR
A HUMAN
CONNECTION
Cave Theory grew out of nine years I spent living in a remote village on a Greek island, during a period when the internet increasingly became my picture of the outside world.
Xydakor is the electronic music project through which those experiences — isolation, perception, uncertainty and connection — found their way into sound.
